What to Expect
It’s Sunday morning and you're planning to visit Faith Bible Church. Questions begin to fill your mind. What can I expect today? What will they do?
What will I do?
We realize that for some, visiting a church can be an intimidating experience. We’re not here to surprise
you or pull any “fast ones” on you, so we will help walk you through our doors before you even leave your home.
What to Wear
As you look through your closet, you wonder what you should wear. Is it a men-in-suits, women-in-dresses kind of church
or a blue-jeans and come-as-you-are kind of church? The answer is both, so you put on whatever you're most comfortable
wearing and join us!
Before Worship
You pull into the parking lot just after 10:30 a.m. and enter through the double doors. A friendly face greets you
just inside and welcomes you. In fact, the entryway is full of friendly people who join you in coffee, bagels and other light
refreshments.
Worship Service
After filling your cup and chatting for a few minutes, the service starts. You take a seat and notice
people just like you. The worship team begins and plays a variety of songs – from praise choruses to hymns, some old, some new –
accompanied by singers, piano, guitar, bass and drums, presenting a nice variety for everyone.
While nursery is always available, children of all ages are encouraged to participate in singing praises to God.
The Message
After several songs and prayer, children are dismissed for a children's program called Kingdom Quest. Pastor Jeff steps up to speak. The message is personal, challenging and encouraging. The
message takes timeless truth given in the Bible and makes it relevant to our personal lives.
Lord's Table
Typically after the message,
the service concludes with the partaking of bread and grape juice as a special remembrance of Jesus Christ.
After the Service
Even when the service is officially over, the joy doesn’t stop. Many people stay around to catch up, get acquainted, or maybe
make a new friend. Perhaps after meeting a few people, you leave FBC around noon in search of lunch, but you will have already been
fed spiritually.
